We are proud to announce that the ancient haveli of Nachana Thikana has been converted into a heritage hotel since 1996. The 280 years old haveli inites you to remember the glorious past of Thikana Nachana. At present the Hotel has 14 double bedded rooms, most exquisitely decorated with old furniture, antiques and paintings with big baths and every morden facility. The Hotel is sitiuated in the heart of the old walled city. We invite the travelers to stay at beautifully carved "Thikana Nachana Haveli" and to experince and enjoy the tasteful surroundings and the enjoy peaceful inner courtyards which invite quiet hours of relexation amidst the bustle of the town.

Yellow and crinkly pages of mediaeval history tells that in 1156 AD, the fort was constructed by the Bhatti Rajput ruler Rawal Jaisal. Perched atop the Trikuta Hill, the Jaisalmer fort has witnessed many great battles, fought between valiant heroes. Jaisalmer fort is also known as the Golden fort (Sonar Quila), because it is entirely built of yellow sand stone. Once upon a time, this grand fort used to house the entire population of the city. However, due to the vagaries of time and nature, only a quarter is now present here.
